Vehicle Fitment Guide

A similar-looking part can have a different application. Compare the listing with the actual vehicle and the old part.

Start with the actual vehicle

Check the make, model and generation, model year, engine type/capacity and relevant specification. Registration year alone may not identify the manufacturing variant. Consider transmission, body style, market specification and any modifications where relevant.

Compare the old part and Part Number

Read the marking on the old part and compare the Part Number, dimensions, connectors, mounting points and specification with the listing. A similar name, picture or OEM-reference search result is not enough to prove interchangeability. Superseded numbers require an authoritative cross-reference.

VIN or chassis information

VIN/chassis information can help a competent parts specialist identify the vehicle specification. Share only the details needed through a verified private channel; do not post full identifiers or ownership documents publicly.

Compatibility is a selection aid

Website compatibility results are based on the published vehicle application. They do not replace inspection of the actual vehicle or a professional installation check. If information conflicts or a modification changes the application, do not force installation; confirm the right part first. Safety-critical work should be carried out by a competent professional.
